To be able to make this film, I would need to further research the topic of homeless (LGBT+) youth, bullying and the rate of suicide in LGBT+ teenagers.
As many young people face ostracisation, I do not believe that surveys and whatnot conducted by any sort of government agencies are reliable and accurately.
